He also plays a Charvel Surfcaster 12-string guitar. Semeraro plays through a first generation Mesa Boogie Express 5:50, and his pedal board consists of an Xotic Effect compression, a Fulltone OCD, a Providence Phaser, and a Catalinbread Montavillian digital delay. He sings lead and backup vocals. Semeraro sings lead vocals on Walk in the Room, Johnny 99, and Atlantic City. By day, he works as a professor at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California.
