So last night, we played a show for a group of scientists at UC San Diego. Oh boy, right. But it turned out to be the most fun we’ve had on stage! There was a group of about a dozen people who just loved the music, singing and dancing and throwing out requests. When we took a break, we just hung out with them and drank beers together. Set lists were thrown out the window, and we just played whatever felt right in the moment. It’s what playing in a band is all about. And they want us back next year! But we have to learn Werewolves of London, Sympathy for the Devil, and Good Times, Bad Times. OK, we can do that.
